  • Design tailored to the business.
  • Mobile and desktop layouts.
  • Copy organised from existing material and a short factual brief.
  • Presentation of supplied project images, genuine reviews and verified credentials.
  • One standard enquiry form and agreed contact links.
  • Basic technical and on-page search setup.
  • Domain connection and launch checks.
  • One consolidated revision round within the agreed brief.

Online shops, booking systems, customer portals, new branding and ongoing marketing are quoted separately. We’ll confirm the right scope before you commit. If the simpler option meets your needs, we’ll say so.

Our approach

  1. Step 1

    Agree the scope

We confirm the right package, total price and start date. A 50% deposit books the work.

  2. Step 2

    Share the essentials

You send your existing website or business profile, key business details and suitable photographs. We organise the material, propose the structure and ask for anything that is missing.

  3. Step 3

    Review your first draft

Your first draft is ready within 48 hours of the agreed start, once the essentials and deposit are in place. You send one consolidated set of revisions within the brief.

  4. Step 4

    Approve and launch

Once you approve the site and pay the balance, we connect the domain, run the launch checks and test the enquiry route.

  • Scope and price agreed before work starts.
  • You review the website before it goes live.
  • Errors against the agreed brief are corrected without charge.
  • The domain is registered in your name.
  • Correcting an error or omission against the agreed brief is separate from the revision round included in every package. Additional requests are priced before they are undertaken.

Javelin was founded by Ben Pywell, a contracts manager working in commercial construction. That experience shapes our approach: clear scope, practical communication and a website that reflects the business behind it.

Frequently asked questions

1.Which package do I need?

Launch suits a business whose services, work and contact details can be presented well on one page. Business suits an established company whose services, background and work each need their own page. Expanded suits a business with individual services, sectors or project examples that deserve dedicated pages.

We’ll confirm the right scope before you commit. If the simpler option meets your needs, we’ll say so.

2.Can I see a design before I commit?

Yes. Request a free one-page demo and we’ll build a design preview from your business details, delivered by email within 48 hours of submitting the form, including weekends. No payment details, no obligation.

If you decide to proceed, we agree the package and scope and the demo becomes the starting point for the paid build. Revisions, launch and handover are part of the package.

3.Can you replace my existing website?

Yes. Your existing site is useful source material: we organise what is worth keeping, fill the gaps with a short factual brief, and carry the content that matters into the new structure within the package scope.

Before anything changes, we check who controls the domain and how it is set up, then agree the switchover with you.

4.What if I only have a social-media page?

That is a normal starting point. Send the link. We organise the information from it and from a short factual brief, then ask you for the essentials that are missing, such as service areas and contact details.

5.Do I need to write all the copy?

No. We prepare a first draft of the wording from your existing material and the facts you provide. You check the details, correct anything that is wrong and approve it. What we do need from you is the facts: your services, the areas you cover, how you want to be contacted, and any photographs, reviews or credentials you would like shown.

6.What does the 48-hour turnaround cover?

The first draft of your paid website, to the agreed scope, delivered within 48 hours of your agreed start date. The clock starts once we have the essential information and the deposit, not when the enquiry form is sent. It is a draft for your review, not a finished launch.

Launch follows your revisions, your approval, the final payment and the domain access we need, so the launch date depends on those steps as well.

The free demo is different: a one-page design preview delivered within 48 hours of submitting the demo form, weekends included, with no start date to agree first.

7.How do payments and revisions work?

50% deposit to book the project. Remaining 50% after approval, before launch. The scope and total price are agreed before work starts.

Each package includes one consolidated revision round within the agreed brief. Errors or omissions against that brief are corrected without charge and do not use up the revision round. Additional requests are priced before they are undertaken.

8.Will this replace my existing advertising?

No, and it is not meant to. The website gives people somewhere clear and credible to go after seeing your advert, hearing a recommendation or looking up your business. You can continue the advertising that works for you.

The build does not include an ongoing marketing service.

9.Will you guarantee Google rankings or enquiries?

No. The build provides the agreed search foundations and a clear enquiry journey. How much traffic and how many enquiries follow also depends on demand in your area, competition, and the wider activity of the business, so we do not promise a particular result.

10.Do I have to take the monthly care plan?

No. It is optional and separate from the build price. At £19.99 a month it covers hosting and HTTPS, support for the existing site, and one small batch of text or image changes each month, capped at 15 minutes. There is no minimum term, and you can arrange your own hosting instead.

If you leave, you receive the site files you have paid for. Migration work is quoted separately.

11.Can I keep my domain and existing email?

In most cases, yes. The domain is registered in your name. Before we change anything we check your existing access and settings, and your email hosting stays as it is unless you ask us to look at it. We plan the switchover to keep disruption to a minimum.

Domain registration and renewal, and email hosting, are separate costs from the build.

Let’s work out what your business needs.

Send a few details. We’ll check the requirements, clarify anything missing and confirm the scope, price and next available start date.
